Synergy Approved Retirement Fund (ARF)

You'll need to send us a written instruction signed by the client.

We’ll need to see proof of address for all policy holders. This could be from a bank statement or utility bill dated within the last six months. It should show full names as well as address.
Please note that we can’t accept P60s or e-statements as proof of address.
We’ll also need a certified copy of each policy holder’s ID, like a current passport or driving licence, and proof of their bank accounts in the form of a certified bank statement from within the last six months.
If payments are to be to a bank account we don't have on file, or the payment method is direct credit, we'll need to know whether payments should be:
- Gross – ie before PAYE, PRSI and USC taxes are deducted
- Net – after taxes have been taken from your payment
To avoid overpaying tax on withdrawals, the client should contact Revenue to assign tax credits to Standard Life’s employer reference number: 9578247P

We can only make payments directly into a client's bank account.

You can also scan and email them to arf_payroll@standardlife.ie, but please remember that you'll need to make sure they're properly protected. We can't guarantee that any email you send us will be received, or that it will remain private and unaltered during internet transmission.
