You'll find our Synergy Buy Out Bond application, as well as more information and supporting documents, on our Synergy Buy Out Bond page.

These are the items that are missed most often – we've listed them according to the relevant page on the application form:
- From page 2 – Transfer payment details, including your client's retirement age and the amount to transfer
- From page 3 – Your client's company pension scheme details, including the name of the scheme, Revenue reference number, start and end date of relevant employment and final salary
- From page 6 – Your signed and dated financial adviser's declaration
- From page 7 – Your client's declaration. If they're transferring from a company pension scheme, the trustees of the scheme must also sign
-
You'll need to provide us with proof of your client's identity, address and sources of funds and wealth. That's in line with your AML/CFT procedures, as stated in the financial adviser's declaration you provide with the application:
"I have completed all checks to verify the identity, address, source of funds, and source of wealth of your client to the standards set out in the anti-money laundering and counter financing of terrorism regulations".
You can send client verification documents to us as you receive them. It won't hold up the processing.
For execution-only stockbroking, we'll need:
- Proof of your client's identity, like a copy of their current passport or driving licence
- Proof of your client's address, like a utility bill, bank statement or document from Revenue or Dept of Social Protection. Any or all of these documents should be dated within the last 6 months
-
You can post documents to us at 90 St Stephen's Green, Dublin, D02 F653.
You can also scan and email them to newbusiness@standardlife.ie, but please remember that you'll need to make sure they're properly protected. We can't guarantee that any email you send us will be received, or that it will remain private and unaltered during internet transmission.
