Synergy Approved Retirement Fund (ARF)
-
You'll find our Synergy Approved Retirement Fund application, as well as more information and supporting documents, on our Synergy Approved Retirement Fund page.
-
These are the items that are missed most often – we've listed them according to the relevant page on the application form:
- From page 1 – your client's bank details, including their bank account name and number (IBAN)
- From page 2 – ARF income amount, frequency and start date
- From page 5 – your commission. If you don't want to take initial commission or FBRC, just put '0' or 'nil' in the box. If you're taking FBRC, we need to know the payment frequency
You'll also need to include the ARF Certificate of source and your signed and dated financial adviser's declaration.
-
We'll need to see:
- Proof of your client's identity, like a copy of their current passport or driving licence
- A certificate of source from the pension provider or QFM
- A cheque or EFT from the pension provider or QFM
If your client has chosen execution-only stockbroking, we'll need:
- Proof of your client's identity, like a copy of their current passport or driving licence
- Proof of your client's address, like a utility bill, bank statement or document from Revenue or Dept of Social Protection. Any or all of these documents should be dated within the last 6 months
